About

I'm Ginger Slover, and I started Ozel Silk because I couldn't find silk scarves that spoke to where I'm from. Texas, the American West, ranch life, and the freedom to go beyond it. Natural earth tones, soft neutrals, and the occasional pop of color that catches you off guard.

Most Ozel scarves begin as original artwork, printed on 100% silk twill. The collection is intentionally small. I'd rather release fewer pieces, considered carefully, than more for the sake of more.

The Name

Ozel is Turkish for special or private. A word for objects that feel personal rather than mass-produced. It's the standard I hold every piece to.

The Craft

Ozel scarves are made with a focus on material, finishing, and longevity. Each piece is printed on premium silk and finished by hand.

  • 100% premium mulberry silk twill, 16mm weight for balanced drape

  • Double-sided printed for rich color front and back

  • Hand-rolled, hand-stitched edges

  • Edges rolled toward the front in the tradition of fine French silk houses
